Auer
PackagingOenological etiquette dictates that one must consider not only the form but also the content. What is the story that you are looking to convey? And how do you want to convey it?
For this redesign, we have opted for a Pegasus, paired with the existing elegant Auer drops and accentuated typographic symbolism. Why? Because Carina Auer loves horses. And this Pegasus appeared on the cover of Horace’s Satires. Aha, you might say. But we’ll help you understand straight away, because this is where the circle closes: the Roman poet Horace is, in fact – something many people don’t know – the creator of ‘Carpe diem’, and with this saying he celebrates the pursuit of pleasure, good food and good wine in good company. Michael & Carina Auer are connoisseurs. Like their wines, they are both warm, full-bodied and captivating, possessing that certain extra zest for life. That’s why it’s a perfect fit.
