The Englishman

Port connoisseurs appreciate Madeira. And the best Madeira on the island is called Barbeito. The chubby little red man on every bottle embodies the popular image of the British landlord, who is having a right good time on the Atlantic island. However, without the Englishman there would be no Madeira, so he has earned his place on the label. Alessandri Design & Brand Manufactory treated the caricature for what it is, and lets the portly Englishman get up to his antics on the labels and in the corporate design: rejuvenated, more likeable and less portly.
