What the farmer eats

The Schwarzbergerhof in the Mühlviertel is a flagship project straight out of an organic farming handbook: heritage breeds are bred and reared in mixed herds; animals are slaughtered on the farm to avoid transport stress; and everything available is used – from nose to tail. In other words: just like in the old days.
To highlight this authenticity and the Schwarzbergerhof’s ethos, we drew on the almost lost art of folk painting for the packaging design. This gives the connection to nature and sustainable working practices a fresh new look. Background colours, pictograms and folk painting complement and adorn the delicious sauces, spreads and now also jams. Bon appétit!
