Under EU legislation, the postal monopoly was expected to end in 2003. From that moment on, the clock was ticking for the Post Office. The restructuring process had begun. The Post had 1,000 days to transform itself into a competitive, customer-focused company. During this phase, Alessandri Design & Marken Manufaktur designed the first four annual reports, including the 2001 report.
Austrian Post AG was also able to close its third financial year as an operationally independent company with a positive result. We packaged the positive figures into a tactile, appealing postal parcel. The annual report was thus intended to demonstrate that the colour yellow undoubtedly stands for unrivalled quality, efficiency and reliability.
