But it’s not a joke: the Vinofaktur in Vogau brings all the top Styrian vintners together under one roof. A logistics centre recast as a vinotheque resplendent with the region’s top wines, as well as tasting sessions and seminar rooms.

What started in Vogau at the start of the South Styrian Wine Route ended in a major project for us. We let the idea percolate. Eventually it matured, allowing us to create an all-enveloping corporate design (indoor and outdoor branding, packaging, boxes, bags and other tidbits) that screamed style and substance.

The finished product was a noble, restrained black-grey, seasoned with a little red, to which we added a generous sprinkling of sans serif and grotesque fonts.
