In line with EU legislation the Austrian Post Office’s monopoly was due to come to an end in 2003. The clock was ticking. The time for some major restructuring work had come. The Post Office had 1,000 days to transform itself into a competitive, customer-oriented enterprise. It was during this phase that Alessandri Design & Brand Studio created its first four annual reports – the 2001 report is pictured here.
Österreichische Post AG again reported a profit in its third financial year as an independently operating company. We wrapped the good news in an appealingly tactile package. The idea was for the annual report to communicate the associations between the corporate colour (yellow) and quality, efficiency and reliability.
