Take the ‘47er’

The many awards won by the wonderful Schwertführer No. 47 winery in Sooß are down to the fact that the whole family works around the clock with tremendous passion on the wine and on serving it to the public. It’s not about being a leader, no – it’s about wielding a sword. And they’ve been wielding it since 1959, in fact.

The new branding is a hit and is conceptually supported right through to the homepage, in that we pay tribute to the many awards by celebrating them in the form of icons. You might be wondering why the name ‘47er’? Because they wanted the name to stand out. (There’s another Schwertführer winery at number 35, and they wanted to distinguish themselves from it. That’s why.)
