Good things are so close

The Esterházy family’s collections are a seemingly inexhaustible source of inspiration. We had only just finished designing the branding and product packaging for Esterházy wines, drawing on the family’s archives, when the first product line extension was already on the horizon. Alois Gölles, a master of his craft and renowned for his fine spirits, was ready to distil a range of high-quality spirits for the winery. And so we set out once more to explore the house.

This time, in the Chinese Salon of Esterházy Palace in Eisenstadt, we discovered exquisite hand-painted wallpaper, whose figures have adorned the Esterházy Spirits ever since. The typography and ornamentation create a clear connection to the parent brand, the Esterházy Winery.
